Our product

Only the best material are used to make stone products at sugitasekizaiten. Beautiful granite arrives almost monthly.
Most of stone lantern has original design and we are trying to make the original one as close as possible.


One stonemason make a stone lantern from the beginning to the end with skills and experience.
Also we are carefully
finishing each part by hand, even blind spot.


That's why our stone lantern has a handmade feel and warmth.
That's the difference between our stone lantern and the others.

Difference 01 Our stone lantern has " HOZO ".
HOZO is
protrusion of stone lantern. probably old stonemason create it long time ago. Because Earthquake happen quite often in Japan. Hozo prevents fall down stone lantern when something happen. So our stone lantern is more stable than others.

Difference 02 Okazaki is the most famous city of stone lantern in Japan.
There are many stone material company in this city.
But most of those company doesn't make stone lantern, mainly sales gravestone.
Because lately decreased demand for stone lantern and keep losing skillful stonemason in this country. But we are keep making stone lantern,
stone statue since 200 years ago.
And we make effort to improve quality of product even now.
Because we think that's
really important to keep the stone culture and tradition of Okazaki.
